Moon I 00:21
And, all at once, the Moon arouse through the thin ghastly mist, And was crimson in color... And they lynx which dwelleth forever in the tomb, came out therefrom. And lay down at the feet of the demon. And looked at him steadily in the face. - Edgar Allan Poe -

Moon V 00:17
This way and that way I tried to keep the pail of water together, Hoping the weak bamboo would never break. Suddenly the bottom fell out. No more water - No more Moon in the water, emptiness in my hand. - Chiyono (Upon Discovering enlightening with the moon) -

Moon VI 00:28
The Moon does not fight. It attacks no one. It does not worry. It does not try to crush others. It keeps to its course, but by its very nature, it gently influences. What other body could pull an entire ocean from shore to shore? The Moon is faithful to its nature and its power is never diminished. Deng Ming-Dao -

about

The Moon - so far and yet so near. Despite all our differences, we all see the same Moon, the same valleys, the same seas and craters. The Moon - it soothes some, make some dance, makes others fear, still others fall in love under its light and kiss for the first time. Poets around the world have looked at the Moon and were equally inspired by its purity. You hear some of their poems as interlude between the music. These thoughts inspired me when writing the music for this new album.
